PROBABILITY METHOD OF DYNAMIC DEFORMATION OF INHOMOGENEOUS TWO-COMPONENT MEDIA
Abstract
A one-dimensional model of a two-component inhomogeneous medium is considered, one component of which is an elastic medium, and the other is a compressible fluid. For dynamic deformation of such a medium, a probabilistic method is used. The influence of medium inhomogeneouity on the damping coefficient and the speed of propagation of transverse waves is shown.
For a given value of dispersion, analytical expressions are obtained to determine the propagation velocity and attenuation coefficient of a transverse wave in an inhomogeneous two-component medium.
