PROBLEM OF THE PAST AND PRESENT IN A. PROKHANOV'S NOVEL "PALACE"

Abstract

This article examines the theme of the Afghan war in the work of A. Prokhanov, in particular, the novel by the writer "Palace" is taken as a basis. The characteristic of the main character of the novel Kalmykov is given. It is noted that A. Prokhanov, as in his previous works, to define the spiritual world of his characters ("A tree in the center of Kabul", "Drawings of a battle-fighter") refers to the reception of memories. In general, the plot of the "Palace" is based on real events, witnessed by A. Prokhanov himself.
