REDUCING THE LEVEL OF ACCIDENTS AT UNREGULATED PEDESTRIAN CROSSINGS IN THE DARK PH. D.
Abstract
The issues of ensuring traffic safety at pedestrian crossings in the dark are considered. Studies of the illumination of pedestrian crossings by street lamps and the influence of the luminous flux of car headlights on the visibility of pedestrians at different distances of the car from the pedestrian crossing were carried out. The optimal illumination of pedestrian crossings has been established.
