Abstract

The article is devoted to the territorial features of rural settlements and their impact on the implementation of competence issues. Special attention is paid to sparsely populated, remote and inaccessible areas. The conclusion is substantiated that the territorial features of rural settlements should be the basis for determining issues of local significance at the legislative level.
