LITERARY ONOMASTICS AND ONOMASTIC SPACE
Abstract
The article describes the methods of studying the onomastics of fiction in the context of stylistics, semantics and semiotics, as a result of which a new direction in onomastics “literary onomastics” has appeared, which has its own characteristics and meanings. The genre types and functions of literary onomastics are determined.
Purpose: The purpose of the work is to study onomastic vocabulary whose meanings and symbols carry different information and perform several functions. The work is also aimed at determining the processes of formation of the onomastic field of a particular language.

Method: Linguistic description and systematization.
Result: It has been proven that the onomastic field is a part of a work of art and an indicator of the creative peculiarity of a particular author. The relationship between the event and time content of the work has been determined. The specificity of the author's work is also characterized from the standpoint of the onomastic field and the connections between the poetonyms are revealed.
